Startup Campus innovation agency and the National Office of Innovation in Uzbekistan are launching a large-scale Hungarian-Uzbek startup programme with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Hungary and the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The programme aims to help the participating companies enter foreign markets and develop business relations between the two countries.

Programme (USAP)

PROGRAMME DETAILS

The University Start-up Accelerator Programme (USAP) is looking for innovative ideas that address global challenges in the fields of energy, urbanisation, agriculture and healthcare.

The 4-month online acceleration will feature the best 4-6 idea-phase projects, and their work will be helped by mentors from Startup Campus and the National Office of Innovation, Uzbekistan to turn their ideas into real business concepts. The university partners of the acceleration are the Széchenyi István University of Győr, Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent and “National Research University of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers.

Corporate Startup Accelerator

Programme (CSAP)

PROGRAMME DETAILS

The Corporate Startup Accelerator Programme (CSAP) is looking for innovative SMEs that provide future technologies for Hungarian and Uzbek companies in the fields of energy, urbanisation, healthcare, and agriculture. In the online acceleration, which will also last for 4 months, companies (2-3 selected) are tasked with developing new solutions for outsourcing companies with the involvement of industry professionals and business development mentors.

About Startup Campus

Startup Campus is an international innovation centre and startup incubator. We develop and implement innovation programmes for corporations and governmental partners, moreover, we support innovative projects with educational, incubation, investment, sales, and foreign market entry services from early phase ventures up to SMEs with great growth potential. We aim to create an international innovation centre in Hungarian ownership that operates and creates values globally, as well as strengthens the competitiveness of the domestic economy. About the National Office for Implementation of Innovation and Technology Transfer

The National Office for Innovation Implementation and Technology Transfer was formed on the basis of Scientific and practical center for the implementation of innovative projects in the form of a state institution (the National Office of Innovation) under the Ministry of innovative development of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The main objectives and activities of the National Office of Innovation are following:

  • creating, introducing innovative products and services, including new devices, materials and technologies;

  • developing consistent cooperation in the field of science and innovation with scientific and technological organizations as well as industrial establishments;
  • organizing training courses on the use of intellectual property and know-how seminars related to the scientific activity;

  • assisting transfer and localization of technologies developed abroad.
